White Sands condominium is located on West Gulf Drive in the middle of Sanibel Island, Florida, near Tarpon Bay Road. White Sands is an exclusive condominium with only 14 units sitting on three beautiful acres directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Guests at White Sands enjoy the use of the private heated pool, private tennis courts, and gas grills that are on the property, as well as the the incredible white sand beaches that Sanibel is known for.

This condo is our family vacation home on Sanibel Island in Florida and we offer it for rent to others. It is a direct Gulf front condo in a small complex with only 13 other condos, so it is very exclusive and private. Our condo has 2 full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a den that makes sleeping six very comfortable. We continually upgrade the unit to keep it nice for our family and guests. Our condo is a direct Gulf front unit. The view from our unit is direct out to the Gulf, overlooking beautiful natural vegetation of seagrapes, sea oats, and palms. Our primary view is over the vegetation and beach straight out to the Gulf, where warm waters lap up to Sanibel's 14 miles of beautiful beach.

Sanibel Island is a great place for a beach vacation. The beaches are wide and clean, and they are sprinkled with seashells that Sanibel is known for worldwide. While looking for unique shells you can walk many miles of uninterrupted beach. The warm gulf waters are seldom rough, and the water depth increases gradually from the beach providing a large swimming area and discouraging boats from coming in too close to swimmers.

Sanibel is a coastal barrier island, located just off the coast of Fort Myers, Florida. There are many things that make Sanibel unique and reminiscent of old Florida - there are no traffic lights, neon lights, or tall buildings on the island. The formation of the J.N. "Ding" Darling Wildlife refuge over half a century ago set the stage for the stringent building and zoning codes that have allowed the island to develop with modern conveniences while preserving a very natural appearance.

The Fort Myers airport is 45 minutes away, and it is serviced by many major airlines, which keeps ticket costs low to many cities. There are plenty of great restaurants on Sanibel and Captiva islands

Features:

• Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, two night stands, and dresser. The sliding doors to the balcony provide an outstanding view of the Gulf. Remote control TV with cable also will be available after 6/25/06.
• Master bathroom has the vanity sink area, separate from the room with the toilet and full size tub with shower.
• Second bedroom has twin beds.
• Den has a queen sized sleeper sofa as well as a TV with cable and VCR.
• The second full bathroom has a full size tub and shower, toilet and vanity sink.
• The kitchen features all electric appliances: dishwasher, stove with self cleaning oven, refrigerator freezer with icemaker, microwave oven and disposer. There are pots, pans, plates, glassware, silverware, etc. so you should have everything you need for meal preparation.
• There is a full sized washer and dryer in a laundry closet off the main hallway.
• Living room has a sofa, loveseat, swivel rocker, remote control color TV, video cassette recorder and DVD player. Triple sliding glass doors open fully onto the balcony directly overlooking the Gulf, natural area and the beach.
• The balcony stretches across the front of the whole condo (both living room and master bedroom),and has a dining table, chairs and a reclining lounge chair.
• Heated swimming pool.
• Private tennis court on the grounds is shared by just the 14 units at White Sands!
• All linens, towels and cookware are provided.
• Elevator is directly outside our condo.
• Electric heat and air conditioning.
• There may be folding beach chairs, beach toys, wacky noodles, and a couple of beach towels in the storage locker on the ground floor or the front hall closet, but none of this is guaranteed as they are easily lost and broken.

You have a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico when standing at the kitchen sink.	The den.  Sofa is a Queen sized folding bed.	Den.  Hallway leads to kitchen on left, and living room straight ahead.

• We use a professional cleaning service to clean after all guests, so you don't have to do a thing.
• This is a non-smoking unit!!!
• No pets, motorcycles,campers, RV's or trailers are allowed on the property per association rules.
• No more than six people may stay in the condo overnight.
• We collect 12% state and county lodging taxes on each rental.
• All costs are quoted in U.S. dollars.
• Deposit is required to hold a reservation.
• Final payment is due prior to the beginning of the rental period.
• All payments are non refundable.

1. Call or e-mail us to determine the rate for your desired stay.
2. Let us know that you have decided that you want to make a reservation.
3. We will let our rental agent know that you are renting from us and the terms we've agreed on.
4. The rental agent (RE/MAX of the Islands) will send you a confirmation letter, and request the downpayment.
5. You will need to sign one copy of the confirmation letter, and mail it back to our agent with the deposit for your reservation.
6. You will send them a check for the balance before arriving on Sanibel.
7. When you arrive on Sanibel you will go to the RE/MAX office to pick up the keys. This is on your way to White Sands, about 1 mile away. They have a lockbox for after hours pick up, but you have to call ahead to arrange the late pick up.
8. Enjoy your vacation!
9. Return the keys to the RE/MAX office by 10am on your check out day.
